The combined Walthamstow, Eton Manor and Orion mens team finished the season with a win, narrowly beating local rivals Loughton in the Southern League. In a close match Watford finished third with Thurrock taking fourth place.

Lance Symister had another busy day winning the Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shot, Hammer and Discus, also getting second places in the in the High Jump, and Javelin. Chris Linque won the B string of the Shot and Discus, with Charlie McGill getting second place in the B string Javelin. Steve Beckett won the B string of the Hammer, with a second in the A string of the Pole Vault and a joint third in the High Jump.

Newcomers Steven Madge, Felicien Mbongo, and Erhan Eryilmaz all contributed with Steven getting third place in the Triple Jump, Felicien running the B string 100 metres and Erhan getting valuable points in the 110 and 400 metres hurdles events.

In the 5000 metres and 3000 metres Steeplechase our tradition of success continued with Nick Shasha and Shay Joyce winning in the 5000 and Michael Cates and Jim Young across the barriers, with Jim having earlier won the B string 800 metres. In the middle distance races Dey Wilson won the A string of the 800 and 1500 metres, with Daniel Moses getting a win in the B string of the 1500 metres.

Our sprinters had a mixed day with good results in the 200 and 400 metres with Andrew Masella winning the A 200 and 400 hurdles with a second in the 400. Jon Linque won the B string of the 200 and 400 metres with a good time of 54.4 in the one lap event, with a third place in the 100 metres. In the relays a second place in the 4 x 100 meter event and third in the 4 x 400 metres were enough to help us gain the well deserved second match win of the year.
