It was good to see some new young faces join the team for this match, but sadly events not covered and the hammer / discus being cancelled because of a dangerous throwing area, meant last place was almost inevitable. Highlights were 2 new sprinters, Jeremy and Rhys, Chris in the 800m showing a huge amount of talent and Shay Joyce setting a new pb in the 5km by a long way. Best dramatic performance of the day went to 'dying swan' Dey in the 1500m followed closely by Danny having to run the last leg of the 4 x 400 in his Armani hipsters after having changed for the journey home!

So all in all, the squad was a reasonable size, but not enough quality!
