Ooops. Had forgotten all about this page!

Well biggest news is that Walthamstow AC have decided to leave the combined Southern League team 'Forest Athletic'. We wish Eton Manor and Orion all the best for next summer. The main reasons for this decision after membership for 30 odd years was the poor level of competition and the absolute minimum level of participation by Walthamstow athletes. So we have decided to have a summer road race schedule - back to the old 'pot hunting' days!

For road races especially, we are getting a good turnout and at the recent Chingford League that we hosted, we had more 'old' boys helping than ever - the Xmas curry night was also very well attended.

So all in all things are looking more positive, we just need a few more members.
